ABOUT THIS POSITION:

The Shipping Specialist is responsible for handling all products that come in and out of the company. This role is very fast past and challenging. This individual is good at finding solutions to meet the needs of our customers, understands the systems flows of Namify and is self-motivated to get their best performance while being accountable to company standards and approved processes. This position requires adjustments in daily work schedules to be able to meet the needs of Namify and its clients. Working with the Shipping Manager, this position is key to ensure all client's orders are pulled, packaged and shipped on time.


JOB RESPONSIBILIES:

  • Receive, PO match, tag and distribute products delivered daily
  • Picking and packaging of stock and multiline items
  • Scanning and invoicing orders
  • Keeping accurate inventory counts and reporting
  • Ensure all orders ship out on time and accurately
  • Understand principles of shipping, receiving, stock pulling, order fulfillment, and quality control
  • Follow standard processes set for each task
  • Manage time efficiently to meet goals for each process related to shipping and receiving
  • Communicate with various departments, management, and team members to professionally to maintain quality, efficiency, and meet customer needs
  • Ensure all waste is reported accurately and disposed of properly
  • Ensure all emails and phone calls are answered promptly for department

SCHEDULE:

WORK SPACE INFO:

This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.


TRAINING:

Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.
