Position Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is to ensure outbound and inbound shipments are accurate and free from damage, including inventory. Ensure team performs responsibilities set forth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment through facility and personnel audits and enforcing safety guidelines.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations ensuring all employees are trained and following these procedures.
  • Create shipping department schedules along with overtime modifications to ensure that all shipping functions are performed and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure daily operations follow GMP, SQF, and QA guidelines. 
  • React promptly to communicated QA issues.
  • Monitor code dates of orders picked for outbound shipments ensuring OAD is used.
  • Verify and monitor completion of responsibilities as outlined via the shipping department work schedule.
  • Create and enforce self-inspection schedule to ensure self-auditing is completed.
  • Analyze situations to provide solutions that are in the best interest of the company.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Delegate responsibilities to employees as needed.
  • Maintain the required inventory of all shipping department supplies.
  • Ensure that shipping department employees are performing job duties as outlined via the Shipping Associate and Crew Leader Job Descriptions.
  • Ensure that employees are abiding by all Carl Buddig and Company policies via the Employee Handbook and Safety Manual.
  • Train new and existing employees on the required job duties outlined via the Shipping Associate and Crew Leader Job Descriptions.
  • Discuss employees that have breached company policy or are not meeting performance metrics as outlined via the Warehouse Associate and Crew Leader job descriptions with the Warehouse Manager and discipline accordingly.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain work in a clean and sanitary manner.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Crew Leader to ensure day to day responsibilities are met.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Ability to legally work in the United States is required. 
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 1-2 years related work experience is preferred in a Supervisory role.
  • ERP experience is strongly preferred.
     

Working Conditions: 

  • Must be able to stand for 8-9 hours per day.
  • Must be able to work in temperatures of 34 degrees or less.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and squat as needed for miscellaneous duties.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds of force.
  • Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week.
  • Must be able to work mandatory overtime if necessary.
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination.
  • Must pass the Carl Buddig and Company Forklift Training and Evaluation Program on an annual basis.
  • Must be flexible and able to work as needed to provide supervisory coverage.
     

Pay range for this position is $60,000 to $68,000 depending on experience.

There is also a potential for a discretionary bonus this bonus is based on personal & company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
