Job description

Sheridan MN is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our fulfillment warehouse team.  In this role, you will be a key player, responsible for ensuring goods shipped are delivered in the most economical manner that meets the customers' needs.  

What You'll Do:

  • Quote package charges – ensuring the best possible rate is obtained for the goods being shipped.
  • Ensure proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping and all finished goods are shipped to the correct destination.
  • Close job tickets by adding freight charges, materials and final shipping quantities. 
  • Provide recap of daily shipments.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, organization and PC skills and attention to detail.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Technical school or college preferred.
  • One-year related experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
  • Knowledge in the UPS, FedEx and USPS shipping systems.

Schedule is Monday to Friday - 40 hours/week

  • Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week and Sundays.
