Position Summary
We're looking for a hands-on Shipping Supervisorto lead our warehouse shipping operations at our Evansville, IN location. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring products move efficiently, safely, and accurately while leading a team to meet daily goals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily shipping operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery
  • Lead, coach, and develop shipping associates, including performance management and training
  • Coordinate loading, unloading, picking, and staging of inbound and outbound shipments
  • Verify shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage prevention
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, and security procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment
  • Communicate effectively across shifts and departments to support operational continuity
  • Plan staffing and schedules to meet workload demands
  • Lead shift meetings to communicate priorities and drive continuous improvement
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to inventory, production, and employee timekeeping
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Address employee concerns, complaints, and escalate as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of warehouse and/or supervisory experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience with shipping and inventory management systems
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain and maintain)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general warehouse/office technology
  • Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed
  • Experience in a union environment is a plus
