Shipping Helpers may also help with inventory counts, checking for damaged items, and keeping the shipping area organized. Their work helps ensure that customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

What does a shipping helper do?

A shipping helper is an assistant to a shipping clerk, logistics clerk, or warehouse associate. As a shipping helper, you provide administrative and clerical assistance to these workers. Your job duties include ensuring shipments have the proper storage in the warehouse or shipping depot, checking that all merchandise has been prepared to fill an order, and keeping track of inventory and goods at the facility. Your other responsibilities are to file orders and billing documents, handle customer service issues, and prepare packages to ship.
