Job description

Rovanco Piping Systems, a leading manufacturer of pre-insulated piping systems, has an immediate need for a Shipping Handler.
  • Record and verify the accuracy of the shipment against paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments / deliveries.
  • Load / unload all carriers quickly and safely.
  • Check deliveries for poor packing and general condition of materials. Alert Customer Service Rep and Warehouse Manager of any problems, taking pictures if necessary.
  • Pull and stage materials at the direction of the shift supervisor.
  • Accurately document all leftover materials and either returns to the warehouse or prepare and stage for shipping / deliver or destruction.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory counts for Company and customer materials/supplies; this includes a manual year-end inventory.
  • Maintain neat and orderly warehouse areas.
  • Operate fork lifts(s) in accordance with OSHA requirements, recommendations and training.
  • Advise Warehouse Manager of equipment problems or preventive maintenance needed.
  • Maintain equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations.

Requirements
  • Maintain valid forklift certification
  • Knowledge of how to use small hand tools
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
