Job description

Shipping Material Handler

Revolution is now hiring for a Shipping Material Handler position in Balch Springs, Texas. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail. This position is a full time permanent role with a competitive benefits package in a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record and put inventory away
  • Processing material request from other departments.
  • Perform cycle counts, verifications, and audits.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace.
  • Responsible for the proper care and handling of finished and corrugated goods.
  • Inspect outgoing goods for accuracy and quality.
  • Organize stock in the most efficient way possible using sit down forklift.
  • Stage Orders prior to shipping.
  • Pull Orders when ready to ship.
  • Inspect trucks prior to loading to ensure safety compliance.
  • Verify trucks are loaded with correct product.
  • Complete necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekends are mandatory based on business need.
  • Must be able to stay calm and detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have at least 6 months of forklift experience.
  • Experience with hand pallet jack.
  • Experience with RF scanning devices.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, individually and repeatedly.
  • Comfortable with working in non-temperature-controlled environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities within the work day.
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
