Duties and Responsibilities:
- Site responsibility for coordination of all shipping & receiving activities.
- Organize shipping department to ensure a smooth flow of customer's orders. Plan and balance daily workload to meet objectives of daily shipping schedule including special customer instructions and/or requirements.
- Process shipping documents as required (pick / pack / ship confirmation process _ Bills Of Lading, Packing Slips, B-13, Customs papers and NAFTA if & when applicable).
- Maintain safe, clean and well organized warehouse and working areas. Ensure shipping areas are clear and free of any debris or obstructions.
- Maintain accuracy of shipping & receiving documents.
- Communicate with customer service group to address questions and/or requirements.
- Maintain shipping log & metrics.
Education and Experience:
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent skills in oral and written communication.
- Above average organization skills.
- Labour relations
- Ability to effectively speak before groups.
- Ability to handle job related matters in a professional, diplomatic, and confidential manner.
