Carpenter 

Southwest Mobile Storage in Phoenix is looking for an expert Carpenter. We are a leading provider of container refurbishing solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality service across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. With a commitment to safety, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team and seeking skilled carpenters to join us in maintaining our reputation for excellence. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform carpentry work related to container modifications, office build repairs, and installations.
  • Measure, cut, install, and repair wood, drywall, insulation, flooring, doors, windows, and related materials.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with construction, remodeling, and repair projects within shop operations.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and operational functionality.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Coordinate with shop personnel and management regarding project priorities and repair needs.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism. 
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2–3 years of carpentry, construction, fabrication, or related experience preferred
  • Experience in operating hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment required
  • Ability to read measurements and construction drawings preferred
  • Knowledge of building materials and repair techniques preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Authorized for employment in the United States (sponsorships not available)
  • Ability to pass 10 panel drug test, thorough background screening and MVR
