Job Title: Crane Operator
Location: Greensburg, PA
Rate: $21.00-$27.50/hr + Overtime
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and control the movement of cranes to lift, position, and place materials and equipment
  • Operate electric overhead traveling crane
  • Transport ingots to cooling pits or furnaces
  • Perform pre-operational checks and inspections on the crane to ensure it is in safe working condition
  • Safely rig loads and attach them to the crane using appropriate lifting devices
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating the crane
  • Communicate with ground crew and other personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including daily logs and inspection reports

Qualifications:
  • Valid crane operator certification/license
  • Proven experience operating cranes in a variety of settings
  • Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and safe lifting practices
