Billing Coordinator
Primary Location: Menomonee Falls, WI
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Billing Coordinator for our premier client Menomonee Falls, WI.
Education and Experience
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience within an accounting department
  • Bachelor''s degree in accounting or related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Familiarity with freight shipping, invoicing, and related processes Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • 10-key by touch
  • Work with project management and sales teams to ensure accurate invoicing for direct contracts.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Role within Systems'' Finance group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Ensure accurate invoicing of customers for prior day shipments of parts, dock levelers, truck restraints, bumpers, lights and control boxes
  • Work with project management and sales teams to ensure accurate invoicing for direct contractsReview freight costs for each shipment, calculate markup and invoice to customer on daily invoicesWork with sales, tech service, customer service and credit department to resolve any billing discrepancies
  • aintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Supervision Exercised (this section should be filled out when an employee has supervisory responsibilities)
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts receivables/ general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
