POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs various types of product packing and shipping in accordance with established procedures and/or commercial standards; receives and stocks incoming equipment, materials, and supplies and prepares shipments.

ATTENDANCE:

Regular and punctual attendance is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

English is the primary language of the facility. Ability to read and write, communicate clearly with co-workers and customers and to respond to appropriate questions regarding work process or work product.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals as appropriate to the position.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written oral and/or diagram form. Ability to define and solve problems and collect data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processes and inspects all incoming and outbound shipments, including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping
  • Audits all documentation for shipping, receiving and production transactions to ensure accuracy
  • Quality control from production and communicating errors to production supervisors
  • Coordinating with other shipping and receiving employees to maintain order fulfillment process in a smooth and organized manner
  • Ensures that proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with correct order.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory levels of consumable shipping materials
  • Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
