Job Description

This role focuses on shipping and receiving activities, accurate counting of parts, and organizing inventory within a warehouse environment. You will support daily operations by moving and organizing parts, assisting with racking setup and breakdown, and ensuring inventory is tracked and kitted correctly using an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and verify quantities against documentation.
• Perform accurate counting of parts and materials to maintain precise inventory records.
• Move, organize, and stage parts within the warehouse to support efficient workflow.
• Assist in breaking down and setting up racking to optimize storage and space utilization.
• Pick and kit parts according to work orders or customer orders, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including packing, packaging, labeling, and staging for pickup.
• Track inventory levels and participate in inventory control activities to reduce discrepancies.
• Use an ERP system and data entry to record inventory movements, shipments, and receipts.
• Support general labor tasks in the warehouse as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including unloading trucks and verifying shipments.
• Ability to accurately count parts and maintain detailed inventory records.
• Hands-on experience with inventory, picking, kitting, and general warehouse labor.
• Proficiency in order selection, packing, and packaging for outbound shipments.
• Basic data entry skills and ability to work with an ERP system for inventory tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing parts and materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus but not required; you will not operate a forklift currently.
• Familiarity with inventory control practices and warehouse operations.
• Comfort working with computer-based systems for data entry and inventory management.
• Willingness to assist with racking setup and breakdown and other general labor tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a warehouse environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse environment. You will work around racking, pallets, and material handling equipment while performing shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks. The role involves regular physical activity, including lifting, moving, and organizing parts. Expect a practical, hands-on setting focused on efficiency, safety, and teamwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Spokane,WA.
