JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Value Center in DeForest is hiring a Shipping Associate to join our Distribution team. If you’re dependable, efficient, open to learning new things, and take pride in doing a job well, we’d love to talk to you.

In this role, you will:

  • Construct cartons and prepare batch carts for order fulfillment
  • Accurately pick customer orders using wearable and voice-to-pick technology
  • Ensure the correct products and quantities are shipped
  • Prepare cartons for shipment to prevent transit damage
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Assist in other areas of the Value Center as workload and priorities shift

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A track record of reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • A positive, team-first attitude
  • Commitment to following safe work practices
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and use basic computer or tablet systems
  • Basic counting and math skills with strong attention to accuracy
  • Ability to speak clearly and hear instructions when using voice-to-pick technology
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand or walk for 6–8 hours per day, and perform physical tasks including twisting, stooping, squatting, and reaching
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Willingness to work overtime when business needs require it
