The Shipping Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of outgoing shipments within the organization. This position is responsible for preparing, packaging, and labeling products for shipment, while maintaining compliance with company standards and shipping regulations. The Shipping Associate collaborates closely with customer service and other team members to verify order accuracy and manage shipping documentation. By maintaining organized shipping records and tracking shipments, this role supports timely delivery. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with shipping software or inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and carriers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role.
  • Familiarity with common shipping carriers and their requirements (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS).
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
