Job Summary
Accumet Engineering Inc is an industry-leading advanced processing manufacturer for new and legacy materials fabrication, precision laser services, and critical component assembly. We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to support our mission by ensuring accurate, timely shipment and receipt of materials and products.
Responsibilities
  • Unload trucks and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Pick, pack, and package products for shipment according to orders.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and sales teams to resolve inventory, documentation or shipment discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records (physical and system) for shipping/receiving activities, support inventories and reconciliation processes.
  • Put away received goods into correct storage location, ensuring lot numbers, revision levels, serials (if applicable) are maintained.
  • Maintain and organize shipping/receiving dock and warehouse areas (cleanliness, 5S, safety compliance).

Minimum Requirements
  • Prior experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy in labelling, basic math, and documentation
  • Experience in manufacturing environment a must
  • Good communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills: ability to use shipping software/labels, inventory system, MS Office (Excel, Word) or ERP system, (JobBOSS)

Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision ability is required which includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
