XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is NOW HIRING for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk!


Location: Plainfield, IN 46168


Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay: $18.00


Position Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating all inbound and outbound logistics at the site level, ensuring accurate tracking, scheduling, and system updates. This role supports efficient warehouse operations and communication between internal teams and carriers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound truck schedules
  • Maintain 100% accurate system updates (ZeroPoint) daily
  • Track arrival/departure times and monitor delays
  • Enforce scheduling rules (no appointment = no unload)
  • Verify BOL, pallet counts, and material types
  • Communicate with warehouse teams, logistics, and carriers
  • Escalate issues such as delays, no-shows, and discrepancies


KPIs:

  • Schedule adherence
  • System accuracy (ZeroPoint)
  • On-time performance
  • Load tracking accuracy
  • Reduction in detention and TONU


Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of logistics or warehouse experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with WMS/TMS systems
  • Experience managing or adhering to truck schedules
