Materials Associate (Shipper)

Work Arrangement: In-Office, Hamel, MN 1 st Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. or Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Role Overview The Shipper packages and ships customer orders accurately and on time in accordance with customer requirements and Tolomatic policies and procedures. This role supports reliable order fulfillment by verifying shipment details, preparing required documentation, and ensuring packages are ready for domestic and international delivery. The Shipper works closely with team members and internal departments to maintain shipping accuracy and service. Success in this role requires attention to detail, comfort working with numbers and instructions, and a positive, team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Package and ship customer orders in accordance with customer requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Verify order, packaging, labeling, and shipment information for accuracy before release.
  • Prepare and review domestic and international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, USMCA documents, SLI forms, and applicable free trade agreement documentation.
  • Use computer systems and Microsoft Office tools to process and support shipping activities.
  • Collaborate with company personnel to resolve shipping questions and support timely order fulfillment.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • International shipping experience.
  • Knowledge of international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, USMCA documents, SLI forms, and free trade agreements.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to navigate between screens and use Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work accurately with numbers and instructions, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, work independently and as part of a team, stand for an entire shift, and demonstrate a positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
