Job Title: Shipping Associate

Job Description

As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for wrapping fully assembled outbound equipment with shrink wrap and securing it using a heat gun. Some tasks may require using a ladder to reach the top of the equipment. You will conduct a final quality check to ensure no paint scuffs and that all stickers and labels are correctly applied. Additionally, you will operate a pallet jack and forklift to move equipment and manage the receiving of new inventory.

Responsibilities

• Wrap fully assembled outbound equipment using shrink wrap and a heat gun.
• Conduct final quality checks on equipment for paint scuffs and label placement.
• Use a ladder to reach the top of equipment when necessary.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift to move equipment.
• Manage the receiving of new inventory.

Essential Skills

• Experience in material handling.
• Proficient in operating a forklift.
• Experience in the final steps of shipments.
• Experience with inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using an overhead crane.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Mankato, MN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
