Job description

Deerfield Packaging is looking to employ a UPS/FedEx Processor, responsible for fulfilling strict delivery schedules for UPS and FedEx shipments.

Job Characteristics
  • Prepare, wrap and load pallets of finished goods for bulk shipments, completed by 3 P.M. daily for timely pickup
  • Tidy and reset work areas with new pallets and new boxes after shipment in preparation for next work day
  • Generate and distribute bills of lading and advanced shipping notices for all Home Depot shipments
  • Select, package and process directtoconsumer ecommerce shipments, including generating advanced shipping notices
  • Run end of day carrier reports reconciling shipments and deliver to accounting department
  • Weigh, select, label and prepare packages for smaller orders and back orders between shipments
  • Perform basic maintenance on machines used, including (but not limited to) forklift, SpeedyPacker and 3M AutoTaper
  • Participate in training new employees when needed
