Job description

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, twist
  • Previous material handling or shipping experience preferred
  • Fork Truck experience is preferred
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. with assistance from team members or mechanical equipment
  • No written corrective action in last six months
  • No more than six points under Company’s Attendance Control System

Responsibilities:

1.

Perform duties in accordance to standardized work instructions.

Perform any / all duties in department as needed to cover absentees, open positions, or deficiencies

2.

Pulling orders, Palletizing, Scanning, Banding, Paperwork

3.

Operate Fork truck, loading / unloading trucks, putting away materials

Operate Tugger / SS Dandori route

Put away totes as needed

Hang signs, tape / re-tape designated areas, Update labeling, etc.

Daily checks and PM of equipment

4.

Perform & maintain 5S of work area

5.

Perform daily audits of designated work area, ensure product is protected from damage and abnormal conditions as designated

6.

Assist in the identifying potential problems or abnormal conditions and assist in establishing countermeasures and corrective actions, participate in departmental Kaizen activities

7.

Ensure EMS/QMS procedures are followed in performance of job duties

8.

Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision
