Job description

The Warehouse Shipping Clerk will work in a general warehouse environment, focusing on coordinating shipping and receiving operations. This individual contributor role requires efficient handling of shipments, package labeling, and operation of warehouse equipment to ensure smooth logistics flow during the day shift.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipping schedules and track outgoing shipments through Process Shipper, LTL, Fed Ex and UPS
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against documentation
  • Label packages accurately for proper identification and delivery
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assemble, address and ship merchandise or material
  • Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse shipping
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Forklift operation skills
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Basic math skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Ability to handle physical workload
