Job description

The Shipping and Fulfillment Associate is based out of our fulfillment center in Barre.  This position services all members of our cooperative by packing and shipping product and premiums for sales and marketing events, public relations, photo shoots, and worldwide product contests.  This position requires acute attention to detail to help deliver high quality products with high quality service. 

Full time, hourly position Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekends will be required during holiday period (November to January). Starting pay will be $20 an hour.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform daily departmental duties including picking, packing, and shipping of all orders.
    • Work collaboratively as a team to complete all orders by the daily deadline for shipment
    • Process orders using Fed Ex Shipping
  • Assist with special projects and execute efficiently
  • Responsible for restocking products, premiums, materials and daily supplies.
  • Track material usage on daily basis
  • Assist in the maintenance of Fulfillment Warehouse inventories.
    • May be trained to operate a forklift.  Transfer inventory from storage location or delivery location to where it needs to be fulfilled if required.
  • Adhere to and be knowledgeable of all safety guidelines, raise concerns to the Team Lead and/or supervisor regarding safety if any are observed.

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and ability to focus on quality and accuracy
  • Familiarity with computer systems and ability to learn shipping platforms
  • Responsible, dependable and self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrate clear thinking and sound judgement skills.
  • Exhibit a positive, energetic, and supportive team player approach.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
