What’s a typical day as Logistics Specialist? You’ll be:
  • Monitoring merchandise received and shipped from the facility
  • Logging inbound and outbound discrepancies such as wrong products, incorrect quantities, and damages
  • Preparing routine reports and filing shipping/receiving documents
  • Coordinating the handling of damaged and defective products to ensure proper accounting
  • Communicating effectively with the Front Office clerk for office supply orders and controlling access to receiving/loading docks
  • Working alongside various departments to support organizational goals
  • Understanding the inventory layout within the facility and communicating with clamp operators and carriers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules
  • Utilizing WMS to generate and create shipping/receiving documents, including pick-lists, put away lists, load sheets, and outbound BOLs
