Job description

Company located in Savannah GA is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in maintaining a smooth flow of goods, optimizing warehouse processes, and upholding safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and logistics while contributing to a fast-paced distribution environment.

Pay:19/hr schedule 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday open availability on Weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with inventory management, including stock stocking, cycle counts, and updating inventory records using warehouse management software.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and order pickers.
  • Load and unload shipments utilizing pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Prepare shipments by packaging products securely and verifying shipping labels in accordance with shipping & receiving procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote safety and operational efficiency.
  • Support shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing customs documentation for international trade compliance, and tracking shipments.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for data entry, order processing, and inventory updates.
  • Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, including load planning and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse operations, optimize workflow, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and accurately.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse operations and distribution processes.
  • Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
