Job description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting the seamless flow of warehouse distribution. Your proactive approach will ensure accurate order fulfillment, safe materials handling, and smooth shipping and receiving processes. Responsibilities 
  • Operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently. 
  • Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately and ensure proper inventory control. 
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders promptly and accurately. 
  • Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. 
  • Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance or report repairs needed for heavy machinery. 
  • Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and support warehouse management efforts. 
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety protocols, and enhance overall warehouse operations.
Qualifications 
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields such as manufacturing or construction. 
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems (such as AS400 or similar platforms) and the use of RF scanners for order fulfillment. 
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification preferred. 
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of materials handling equipment like mechanical lifts and packaging machinery. 
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, stocking, order picking & packing tasks throughout shifts. 
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to warehouse environments. 
  • Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse supervision is advantageous.
