The Retail Shipping Associate is responsible for packing the merchandise for shipment and ensuring accuracy in filling all shipped orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Pick, gift wrap, fulfill, and process retail orders
Fulfill and process wholesale orders
Communicate supply, product and order needs with Supervisor/Manager
Assist in receiving of retail product from vendors
Accurately count monthly inventory with team
Work with team to clean, organize, stock and rotate product, and maintain warehouse
Use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, POS software, and ship management software daily
Use company machinery (i.e. fork lift, pallet jack, and van) regularly
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.
Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Retail shipping experience is preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and managers
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic knowledge and understanding of math
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to sit or stand for a long period
WORK ENVIRONMENT
