About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee packaging and shipping operations at our facility. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving daily operational success.


What You'll Do

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, loading/unloading, locating, picking, packaging, and shipping.
  • Train, mentor, and coach warehouse employees to ensure accuracy, productivity, and safety.
  • Plan, assign, and adjust work schedules to meet operational needs.
  • Accurately meet daily shipping volumes and ensure outbound shipments are correct.
  • Resolve issues, enforce company policies, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Partner with warehouse management on operational planning and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training in warehousing/logistics a plus.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse or supervisory experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with basic computer systems (internet, spreadsheets, word processing; exposure to warehouse or ERP systems preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and work in a loud, fast-moving environment.
