Description

We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products we ship to our customers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Operates weighing and counting scale, wrapping and banding equipment.
  • Packs standard and special products with minimal instructions.
  • Processes UPS packages and operates computer (basic data entry).
  • Call outside carriers.
  • Prepares Bill of Ladings, shipping log, and files paperwork.
  • Communicates with the Sales Department.
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment and use a forklift to load and unload trucks.
  • Check products to be shipped against shipping orders to insure proper quantity, and identification.
  • Check packing and crating requirements to insure safe transportation.
  • Run labels with customer's name and destination handling instructions, etc. and apply to package to conform with standard instructions and procedures.
  • Requisition shipping supplies.
  • Performs sundry duties as required and assigned.
