Description:

Responsible for the receiving, storage, and shipping functions within the warehouse of product movement to and from both internal and external sources. Maximize the effective use of all warehouse resources to maintain organization, cleanliness, data accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods

• Oversee material handling process, including receiving and filling orders

• Lead, train, and provide direction to department staff

• Work with other supply chain associates to maintain records and processes of shipments and materials.

• Move and store a variety of materials, parts, and products.

• Complete all necessary documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, labels, etc.

• Keep accurate counts of incoming and outgoing product, as well as appropriate records of the corresponding shipments.

• Inspect and assess incoming shipments, record problems and communicate with shipper to correct as needed

• Use of forklift and other powered equipment to move and store materials

• Familiarity with international shipping and ERP systems a plus

• Label and mark materials clearly in the appropriate manner

• Perform other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with fulfillment and warehouse processes, or combination of experience and education/training.

• Experience in documenting warehouse processes and distribution business requirements

• Thinking Skills consisting of creative thinking, problem solving skills, decision making skills and visualization.

• Leadership skills and ability to provide training and direction to department staff.

• Excellent communication skills and ability in building relationships, and influencing with stakeholders and internal customers

• Must be willing to adjust work schedules to meet customer demands.

• Must be a strong team player with a personal commitment toward the business and its customers

• Ability to maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
