Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Division: Warehouse

Reports to: Director of Supply Chain

Job Function: Leads and manages all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement. Plans, assigns, and oversees the daily operations of warehouse personnel to ensure productivity, efficiency, compliance, and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and guide warehouse staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training and professional development.

2. Ensure timely and accurate execution of shipping, receiving, and inventory management functions.

3. Collaborate with Production and Customer Service teams to coordinate production schedules and ensure materials availability.

4. Enforce adherence to company policies and industry standards, including GMP compliance.

5. Promote and maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and leading incident investigations and corrective actions.

6. Coordinate with maintenance to schedule equipment repairs and installations, ensuring minimal operational disruption.

7. Lead or support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

2. 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment.

3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and manage a diverse team.

4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or WMS systems a plus.

6. Strong verbal and written communication skills; conflict resolution and negotiation ability required.

7. Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and DOT regulations.

8. Physically capable of performing duties in a warehouse environment (standing, lifting, etc.).

9. Willingness to work extended hours or be on-call as needed.

10. Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
