Protein Solutions is dedicated to creating value for our pet food partners by delivering quality ingredients and supply chain solutions. Our plant operates 24/7, offering Shipping and Receiving positions on various shifts.

Location: Joplin, Missouri

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 plus $.50 shift differential

Shift:

1 Opening: B Shift - Monday-Wednesday (every other SUN) 6PM-6:30AM

1 Opening: C Shift - Thursday-Saturday (every other SUN) 6AM-6:30PM

Scheduled shifts may include nights and weekends; additional overtime may be required.

Primary Function

  • Manage finished goods and raw material inventories through inventory control software.
  • Data entry in Excel and other software.
  • Scaling trucks.
  • Safely operate a forklift and yard truck.
  • Receive raw materials and unload to cooler.
  • Load and bill shipments according to customer specifications.
  • Accurate completion of all department paperwork.
  • Perform detailed inspections for forklifts and yard truck.
  • Provide backup support to all departments as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Must have organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control software.
  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Must be able to complete pre-employment drug screen including THC and background check.
  • Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift and/or yard dog experience.
