Assist in receiving, inspecting, and processing inbound warranty returns. Manage the handling and distribution of incoming and outgoing packages, letters, and warranty/repairs-related shipments and for Black Diamond Equipment within headquarters.

Salary: starting at $18/hour

Education

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

Preferred: 1-3 years in shipping/receiving duties

Skills and general experience:

Basic math and written communication skills required. Ability to work well with others, meet deadlines, follow written/ oral instructions.

Required licenses: BD Forklift Certification (within first 60 days)
Preferred: Forklift Certification & Valid Utah Driver’s License and clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Authorized and responsible to continuously improve upon and perform all duties according to Black Diamond’s Quality, Safety and Employee Policies and procedures:


1.    Responsible for performing all required steps for outgoing packages/ letters & inventory distribution, expediting & storage functions as directed by Supervisor.

2.    Authorized and responsible for operating company vehicles to distribute & pick up materials, packages/ letters or product as directed by Supervisor. 

3.    Responsible for maintaining adequate levels of daily supplies (i.e. tape, boxes, banding material, propane, label stock, pens, etc.) and to advise Supervisor of required supplies in a timely fashion.

4.    Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly workplace, including company vehicles.

5.    Responsible to learn and assist with any task necessary to help the department and BDEL meet objectives for on-time, quality, and cost-efficient delivery of products, materials and packages/ letters.

6.    Responsible for required maintenance checks/ logs on all company equipment and reporting any needed repairs as directed by Supervisor. 

7.    Build a foundational knowledge base of all products across the Black Diamond platform. 

8.    Responding to and closing claims as necessary when items are received or shipped out

9.    Assist with walk-in customer inquiries regarding BD product repairs under the direction of the Supervisor. 

10.    Follow all ISO guidelines in accordance with BD Quality procedures. 

11.    Represent BD Inc. professionally as a public liaison to customers.
