Tenco, which recently expanded its facilities, employs some 350 people at sites in Ontario, Alberta and in Quebec.  As part of  Alamo Snow & Ice Group, Tenco designs turnkey heavy snow removal solutions for the North American market.

We are currently looking for motivated and experienced Shipper receiver to join our Calgary site!

Job summary

The shipper receiver ensures the accurate handling of all shipments, inventory control, and the organization of the warehouse and yard. This role involves managing the receipt and documentation of goods, loading and unloading trailers, and performing daily forklift inspections. By coordinating closely with the parts and shop teams, the shipper receiver maintains an efficient supply chain while ensuring a clean, safe, and properly labeled work environment in compliance with company policies.

  • Perform daily inventory counts and resolve any stock discrepancies.

  • Inspect and operate the forklift safely to move and store materials.

  • Manage shipping and receiving by verifying all incoming and outgoing orders.

  • Load and unload goods from both flat deck and enclosed trailers.

  • Keep the yard and storage areas clean, organized, and properly labeled.

  • Coordinate with the parts department and shop foreman to ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements

  • Minimum: high school diploma

  • 3-5 years experience

  • Prior experience in a similar role is an asset

  • Forklift experience and certification preferred

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

  • Good computer knowledge (MS Office, ERP)

  • Comfortable working in a physically active, outdoor environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
