Ship's System Analyst- Hull, Mechanical, Electrical Norfolk, VA Position is to help provide engineering, technical, and maintenance services to support for Navy Aircraft Carrier maintenance and modernization in the area of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Systems. Specific tasks and experience levels include: * Facilitates CVN daily updates to internal and external stakeholders using Microsoft Office Products. Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the proficient use of Microsoft Products. * Identify, monitor and resolve technical problems on HM&E systems and equipment on aircraft carriers. Minimum of 10 years' experience with planning and budgeting for execution of critical HM&E and related programs including Carrier Engineering Maintenance Assistance Team (CEMAT), Elevator Support Unit (ESU), Machinery Vibrational Assessment (MVA), Underwater Ship Husbandry and shipboard corrosion control * Minimum of 10 years' experience with technical coordination of the following installed or proposed HM&E ship systems including repairs, alterations, assessments, inspections and casualty reports: auxiliary machinery and support equipment (except ALRE, propulsion plant machinery and boilers), hull and piping systems and cargo/weapons elevator systems. * Minimum of 10 years' experience in design improvement, tests, evaluations and new developments in HM&E areas. * Minimum of 10 years' experience with coordinating with military technical agencies and their various field agencies on identification and resolution of technical problems in the hull, mechanical and electrical areas of aircraft carriers. * Provide technical advice, in conjunction with aircraft carrier proposed HM&E modernization packages. Minimum of l0 years' experience in HM&E modernization packages for aircraft carriers. * Minimum of 10 years' experience with planning, development, execution and analyzing a budget in support of naval engineering programs including new technology developments and lifecycle maintenance cost reducing initiatives, monitoring budget performance, and tracking cost avoidance results as applied to naval engineering maintenance enhancing programs. * 10 years minimum of technical management, development, and integration experience with aircraft carrier HM&E requirements occurring within the last five (5) years. * MUST be US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
