What will you be doing?

Under the direction of the Shipping Department Lead, the associate will pull, package, stage, load, and ship orders to meet our customers specifications and delivery deadlines.

Some of your day to day tasks:

  • Locate and move products to fill internal and external orders.
  • Inspect parts while pulling and or packing for damage and or visual defects.
  • Secure products onto crates, pallets, boxes and shipping containers.
  • Build custom crates, pallets, and boxes and ensure the correct packaging materials are used to reduce product damage while in transit.
  • Date entry of packing and shipping in the computer system
  • Properly label deliveries and allocate to designated location.
  • Understand regulations behind shipping hazarded materials
  • Assist with LTL, FedEx and UPS shipments
  • Stage and load trucks for shipping
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Identify and implement ways to improve the quality, cost, safety, delivery and moral of the area
  • Help in other work areas as assigned by the Shipping Dept. Lead or Shipping Supervisor

What do you need to be able to do?

  • Have a valid driver’s License
  • Have forklift and crane operating experience
  • Must be able to lift at least 70lbs and carry it for 20ft on occasion
  • Ok to work in the outside in the elements
