Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to create individualized treatment plans that guide clients in their mental health journeys.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions to facilitate client progress and resilience.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and ensuring that client records reflect accurate and timely information.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team, sharing insights and strategies with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to refine best practices and exchange knowledge on innovative approaches in mental health treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and resources available within the community, helping them navigate challenges and foster resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who are facing various mental health challenges. As a mental health counselor, you will work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Your role will be critical in providing evidence-based support that empowers clients to pursue healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
• A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in a mental health clinical setting, with a focus on individual and group therapy.
• Expertise in employing solution-focused psychotherapy techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong therapeutic relationships and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in diverse therapeutic interventions and familiarity with integrating various treatment modalities based on client needs.
