GENERAL FUNCTION:

Software Lead with Enterprise level SW development experience, and who is comfortable with development Windows platforms. This Lead should have planned and executed on the full SDLC. Candidate should have Team lead experience and be the Tech Lead/SME for the Software Team, and also have experience with the Agile processes.


Responsibilities

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Lead design, implementation, test, and documentation of SW components.
  • Work closely with Chief Engineer and HW Lead to define/capture SW requirements.
  • Lead development effort for new product, and support maintenance of existing products.
  • Assist in refining and regulating DevOps for Product Development Department.
  • Interface with Team members to provide implementation guidance.
  • Host design and code reviews.
  • Provide mentorship to less senior Team members.

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years software development experience using Java, C++/C#, Shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise level application configuration and deployment.
  • Able to translate Requirements into Design Artifacts and an Implementation.
  • Experience developing RT, Multi-Threaded, Scalable Windows Server Applications and Services.
  • Experience generating SW design artifacts: Activity Diagram, Use Case, Data Flow
  • Experience developing .NET applications.
  • Expertise in MS SQL, WPF, C#.
  • Familiar with Information Assurance practices and procedures.
