Theย Laminator role is responsible for utilizing fiberglass and other materials to produce high quality products.ย

Job Summary
ย 
The Laminatorย is responsible forย ensuring proper material application andย finishย quality during the manufacturing process. This role involves using a hand roller mounted on a 4-6-footย pole to evenly roll resin and materials,ย eliminatingย air pockets and ensuring full adhesion as materials are sprayed or layered onto the pool surface. The Laminator also trims and removes excess material toย maintainย specified tolerances and product quality. This position requires sustained attention, coordination, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently to keep pace with continuously applied materials.

Some of What You Will Do:
  • Roll fiberglass and resin composite materials to required specifications and quality standards, ensuring proper saturation and air removal.
  • Properly useย a MIL gauge to verify material thickness and ensure compliance with production requirement.
  • Trim pool copings and excess materials to specified dimensions.
  • Gather and stage all materialsย requiredย for shell production.
  • Place reinforcements and core materials in designated locations per design and process requirements.
  • Inspect and prepare parts prior to layup to ensure surfaces meet quality standards.
  • Lay woven mat and core materials accurately and efficiently.ย 
  • Complete required quality assurance forms and production documentation.
  • Read, understand, and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).ย 
  • Train andย assistย other employees in proper rolling,ย mat-laying, and laminating techniques as assigned.
  • Consistently wearย requiredย personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety, health, and environmental protocols.ย
