Job Description We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Red Hat OpenShift, DevOps toolchains, and Linux administration, and a proven ability to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable platforms that enable reliable CI/CD and resilient application delivery. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage OpenShift clusters to support application deployment and scaling. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Ansible Tower, and XL Release. Administer Linux environments and automate tasks using shell scripting. Ensure application and platform health through proactive monitoring and incident response. Manage code migrations and enforce source control policies and branching strategies. Apply maintenance releases, upgrades, and hotfixes across platforms and applications. Design, implement, and maintain platform security across Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Microsoft Server, and Oracle/Exadata. Execute proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate and validate new technologies. Coordinate with infrastructure teams on outages, maintenance windows, and upgrades. Monitor, track, and remediate vulnerabilities to maintain compliance with organizational policies. Plan and manage platform capacity to meet performance and availability objectives. Serve as an escalation point for complex production and platform issues. Design solutions that reduce operational complexity and improve manageability. Coordinate and manage software releases to align with project timelines and quality gates. Required Skills & Qualifications: Hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes, including cluster design and operations. Proficiency with DevOps tools: Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Ansible Tower, and XL Release. Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills. Experience with platform security hardening and vulnerability management. Background with Microsoft Server and Oracle/Exadata environments. Proven incident management, release coordination, and capacity planning experience. Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with Jira for work management and release tracking. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery practices.
