The Opportunity
This role supports the daily operation of sheeting equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production while meeting quality and customer requirements. The Sheeter Assistant works closely with the Sheeter Operator to support machine setup, material handling, quality inspections, and production activities while maintaining compliance with safety, GMP, SQF, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the daily operation of the Sheeter to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.
  • Assist with machine setup, material staging, roll verification, and make-ready activities under the direction of the Sheeter Operator.
  • Perform quality inspections and verify that products meet customer and production specifications.
  • Identify and report quality concerns, material issues, or production deviations to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete production documentation, work orders, and system data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following GMP, SQF, 5S, and company safety requirements.
  • Support maintenance activities and assist with basic troubleshooting as directed.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with material movement and operational support to maintain production flow.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
