What You'll Do

As a Commercial Pipe Welder, you'll play a key role in the fabrication, installation, and welding of piping systems serving commercial and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weld carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems to project specifications and code requirements
  • Perform TIG, Stick (SMAW), and MIG welding based on project needs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, piping isometrics, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
  • Cut, fit, bevel, and prepare pipe for welding and installation
  • Verify weld quality and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
  • Work closely with foremen, pipefitters, and field teams to maintain project schedules
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
  • Support quality control efforts and help ensure successful project execution

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial or industrial pipe welding experience
  • Proficiency in TIG, Stick (SMAW), and/or MIG welding processes
  • Ability to pass a pipe welding test
  • Experience welding carbon steel and/or stainless steel piping systems
