Uprite Construction is a nationally recognized commercial general contractor specializing in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, food processing, and cold storage facilities. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining our commitment to safety, quality, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects from award through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts.
  • Manage project financials including forecasting, cost control, billing, and budget reporting.
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and schedule expectations.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents to resolve field challenges and maintain project progress.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the life of each project.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and support their professional development.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing cold storage, refrigerated warehouse, food processing, industrial manufacturing, or large distribution center projects strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, scheduling, procurement, and construction sequencing.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Insulated metal panels.
  • Freezer and cooler construction.
  • Design build industrial projects.
  • Tilt up construction is a plus.
