1st, 6:00AM - 2:30PM ($27/hr)
2nd, 2:00PM - 11:30PM ($28/hr)
3rd, 9:30PM - 6:00AM (Sunday through Thursday) ($29/hr)

Job Summary: Perform welding operations on locomotive assembly, using text routings, visual work instructions, and blueprints.

Job Duties:

  • Weld heavy plate and sheet metal
  • Perform single-pass and multi-pass welds in all positions
  • Fit and weld material to specification
  • Use welding-related gauges
  • Repair welds (use grinders, cutting torches, gouging equipment and other tools)

Qualifications:

  • All position welding in the above processes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
  • Familiar with use of industrial equipment (gas cutting, hand grinders, mechanical tools)
