We are looking for motivated and charismatic servers to join our Kona Crew. We're looking to fill Part-time positions. Servers must be at least 18 years old.
Kona Ice servers are the face of the business. A typical workday involves driving to one or more locations to serve and/or sell our product, preparing shaved ice, returning and then cleaning/prepping the truck for the next shift. This is a fast-paced and fun job in a growing company where each day will never be like the last. We participate in a wide variety of local activities, such as school events, sports, games, tournaments, large festivals, concerts, corporate events, neighborhood get-togethers, weddings, birthdays, and other unique events.
Kona Ice drivers need to have flexible schedules with a focused priority on meeting the needs of our customers. Hours may vary from 6am-midnight. We are event based and events occur mainly on the weekends and holidays, which will be required workdays. If you are a go-getter with a cheerful attitude, a willingness to step up to fill in for others when needed, and enjoy a fast paced environment, working here is a perfect fit.
***Employees start their shift by arriving to the office in Holt. Then drive the food truck to events in the Jackson area. All shifts start and end at the Holt office.
Kona Ice Server Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment and work well both individually and in teams.
Provide exceptional service to clients and customers with speed and accuracy.
Comply with the hygiene, health, and sanitation guidelines.
Perform basic cleaning of trucks/warehouse.
Complete beginning- and end-of-shift prepping and stocking and follow coinciding procedures.
Must be able to read, count, and accurately complete documentation.
Communicate maintenance & inventory needs to appropriate staff.
Drive safely to scheduled events and greet customers courteously.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be available weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor hot/cold Michigan temperatures.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Must have the physical capacity to lift various weights in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Strong time management and attendance.
  • Exceptional customer service.
