SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Regional Sales Executives (RSE) is a field-based "Hunter" role responsible for acquiring new customers within a defined geographic territory. The Regional Sales Executive will be the face of ePac in their local market, building relationships and closing new business with customers who value a local, in-person connection. The objective is to establish and grow ePac's footprint in their region by relentlessly pursuing new logo acquisition. Once acquired, the RSE will continue to manage the account for one year before transitioning the account to an Account Manager. Each RSE will be able to utilize our lead generation team to support their sales growth within one of our manufacturing plant locations. A territory covers several states and could involve some national accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, closing, and customer handoff to Account Management team
  • Develop and execute a territory plan focused on acquiring new mid-market customers and expanding existing accounts.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, trade shows, and in-person meetings.
  • Conduct customer discovery meetings to understand business needs and present tailored packaging solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business while ensuring a seamless transition to the assigned Account Manager.
  • Develop multi-level relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to drive long-term customer growth.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans to increase customer revenue, retention, and profitability.
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver exceptional customer support throughout the sales process.
  • Resolve customer issues related to product quality, service, and account management by coordinating internal resources.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, pipeline activity, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Prepare customer pricing and estimates using ePac's quoting tools.
  • Represent ePac at regional and national trade shows, customer events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve pipeline, new business, and revenue growth objectives while driving customer satisfaction.

  • Participating in partnership and problem solving sessions, as well as product line trials with existing/new customers

Adapt easily to changes in work assignments and environment, and is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new procedures. Demonstrate effective organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in a business related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a B2B field sales or new business development role, with a consistent record of achieving sales targets.
  • Results oriented, "hunting" sales skills
  • A strong "Hunter" drive with a passion for prospecting and closing new business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and trust in person.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to manage your time and territory effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • CPG industry knowledge preferable
