Job description

You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include rooming patients, handling inbox messages, and performing various administrative duties. Additionally, tasks will involve point-of-care testing, conducting physicals, scheduling follow-up appointments, and making follow-up calls to patients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients and handle administrative duties.
  • Perform point-of-care testing including strep and drips.
  • Conduct physical exams and schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Provide patient follow-up calls and manage forms.
  • See approximately 20 patients per day.

Qualifications
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Able to perform manual blood pressure measurements.
  • Open to candidates with CNA, EMT, or MA backgrounds.

Experience
  • 6+ months of experience in a clinical role such as CNA, EMT, or MA.

Skills
  • Soft skills and a positive attitude are crucial.
  • Previous experience with CMA or injections is a plus.

Schedule/Shift
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
