Job Description STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING. Systems Business Analyst - SharePoint & Power Platform Location: Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO (Hybrid schedule) Duration: 12+ Months with opportunity to extend or convert Role Type: W2 contract Position Overview We are seeking a Systems Business Analyst III to support enterprise collaboration and content management initiatives across Microsoft 365, with a primary focus on SharePoint Online and the Power Platform. This is a hybrid functional role combining business analysis, solution design, user enablement, and operational support.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business users and technology, helping translate business needs into practical, scalable SharePoint-based solutions. This role is not a deep technical engineering or admin position-it is best suited for a product-focused, business-facing analyst who excels at working with users, understanding their processes, and delivering usable solutions. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Delivery Design and implement SharePoint Online solutions including: Site architecture Permissions models Metadata and content structures Translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions Support enterprise content management initiatives using Microsoft tools Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement Gather and analyze requirements through direct engagement with business stakeholders Facilitate discussions to understand business processes, data usage, and pain points Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and platform owners Provide guidance on best practices for content organization and usage User Enablement & Adoption Develop training materials, job aids, and documentation Coach and support site owners and end users Drive adoption of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 tools across the organization Promote effective usage aligned with governance and enterprise strategy Operational Support Provide frontline support and triage for SharePoint-related requests (ServiceNow, Teams, email) Troubleshoot issues related to permissions, structure, and content Support governance, compliance, and content management standards Assist with migration and modernization initiatives (classic modern SharePoint) Collaboration & Delivery Work in Agile environment using Jira for backlog and prioritization Collaborate with cross-functional teams including: Enterprise architecture Security and compliance Power Platform and automation teams Coordinate with external partners and vendors as needed Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role Strong experience with: SharePoint Online (site design, permissions, content structure) Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, etc.) Proven ability to: Gather requirements and translate them into solutions Work directly with business users and stakeholders Deliver training and drive user adoption Experience supporting governance, compliance, or content management frameworks Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) Knowledge of Microsoft Purview or content governance tools Experience with SharePoint migrations and modernization (e.g., ShareGate) Familiarity with enterprise content management systems Background in regulated industries (utilities, healthcare, financial services) Experience creating training materials and documentation *Beware of scams
