Job description

Connsci is seeking a Sr. SharePoint Online/Power Platform Administrator to work in support of one of our federal clients. This individual will provide seniorlevel administration, solution development, and governance support for SharePoint Online and the Power Platform within a Microsoft 365 GCC High shared tenant environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • SharePoint Online Administration
    • Administer SharePoint Online as Site Collection Administrator
    • Manage site provisioning, hub alignment, permissions, and external sharing
    • Enforce governance and coordinate changes with tenant administrators
  • Power Platform Administration
    • Manage Power Platform environments, configurations, and connectors
    • Monitor usage, solutions, and risk indicators for compliance
  • Governance & Controls
    • Implement CoE-based governance practices
    • Oversee solution intake, maker enablement, and lifecycle tracking
    • Prevent shadow IT and solution sprawl
  • Solution Design & Development
    • Design, build, test, and deploy solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and AI Builder
    • Ensure accessibility (Section 508), compliance, and documentation
  • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
    • Manage source control, pipelines, and environment promotion using Azure DevOps
    • Enforce versioning, change control, and deployment standards
  • Security & Compliance
    • Apply role-based access and least-privilege principles
    • Support audits, security reviews, and compliance efforts
    • Coordinate with cybersecurity and enterprise stakeholders
  • Operations & Support
    • Provide incident response, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform support
    • Deliver user training and maintain documentation (SOPs, knowledge base)
    • Continuously improve governance and support processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint Online administration
  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform
  • At least 1 year of Azure DevOps experience
  • At least 1 year of experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit or equivalent governance tooling
  • Current Top Secret, DOE Q, or Public Trust High Risk Tier 4 clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Solution Architect Expert; or SharePoint Administrator/Developer certification.
  • Experience in GCC or GCC High environments.
  • An understanding of SPO security and complex permissions structure.
  • Dataverse data modeling and security role design experience
  • Experience with JSON formatting, Power Fx, and modern SharePoint page design
