Job Overview:
Pay Range: $38hr - $43hr
Requirement/Must Have:
  • 10+ years’ experience in Exchange 2019 / 2016 – On-premises and M365 Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Minimum 10+ years of hands‑on experience administering Microsoft SharePoint Server (on‑premise) environments, with strong focus on SharePoint Server 2019.
  • Proven experience supporting large, enterprise‑scale SharePoint farms (single/multi‑farm, multi‑tier architecture).
  • Experience operating SharePoint in production environments with strict availability, security, and change‑management controls.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise in SharePoint farm administration, including Central Administration and service applications.
  • Experience with Site collections, sites, lists, libraries, and templates.
  • Experience with Permissions management (AD groups, SharePoint groups, inheritance, least‑privilege models).
  • Experience with User Profile Service (UPS) configuration, synchronization, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Managed Metadata Service, Search Service, Secure Store, State Service, and other core service applications.
  • Experience handling user access issues, permission corruption, profile resets, and access‑denied scenarios.
  • Hands‑on experience with SharePoint Server 2019 patching (Cumulative Updates / Security Updates).
  • Experience with Pre‑patch validation, patch sequencing, and post‑patch health checks.
  • Experience coordinating patching with SQL Server and Windows Server updates.
  • Experience troubleshooting post‑patch issues (search failures, timer jobs, service outages).
  • Strong hands‑on experience using SharePoint Management Shell / PowerShell for farm health checks and bulk operations.
  • Ability to write, modify, and maintain custom PowerShell scripts for operational automation.
  • Proven experience with farm‑level, web application, and site collection backups and restores.
  • Experience with SQL‑level and SharePoint native backup/restore strategies.
  • Experience supporting DR testing and recovery activities.
  • Strong working knowledge of IIS administration for SharePoint (application pools, bindings, certificates, authentication settings).
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server administration related to SharePoint farms.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server used by SharePoint including content databases and service application databases.
  • Ability to analyze ULS logs, IIS logs, Event Viewer, and SQL errors for root cause analysis.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint incidents and outages including performance degradation and search/crawl failures.
  • Experience implementing and supporting SharePoint security baselines and hardening standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage On-premises Exchange 2019 / SE and M365 workloads (EXO, SPO, Teams & one Drive).
  • Administer Exchange 2019 HA / Database Availability Group.
  • Manage Hybrid Mail flow, Edge Servers, Security and exchange patching.
  • Maintain Client connectivity and proficiency in scripting / PowerShell.
  • Perform scripted backup, restore, and cleanup tasks.
  • Coordinate with DBAs on maintenance and failovers.
  • Handle audit or compliance‑driven requests related to SharePoint data access.
  • Follow enterprise change control and incident management processes.
Nice to Have:
  • Any Certification on M365 / Exchange / SharePoint.
  • Experience with SharePoint Server Subscription Edition or upgrade planning.
  • Exposure to SharePoint Online / Hybrid environments.
  • Experience supporting migration projects from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online.
  • Ability to document operational runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (APM, synthetic monitoring, log aggregation such as Splunk).
